On Friday, February 21, a federal judge extended a nationwide block on a policy change announced on February 7 by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) that seeks to implement a standard indirect cost rate of 15 percent across all NIH grants.
The decision continues a restraining order issued on February 10, until the judge “can make a final decision on whether to issue an injunction on the proposed change,” according to STAT News.
